Water Resources Divisional Profile                                                                   Water Resources    In Water Resources Division of IIRS, the training, research and consultancy is carried out in various fields such as hydrological modelling using GIS, flood risk mapping and zoning, watershed conservation, planning and management, irrigation command area inventory and water management.  The planned research areas nclude: remote sensing based hydrologic model development and GIS/DSS for water resources planning, development and management. It has a young research team supported by excellent computing facility for image processing and GIS based analysis.
